3 September 2012 – It’s a TAKEOVER!

Earlier today, the Victory 2012 campaign took the Hope Tour to the Klottey Korle Constituency in Accra. The aim of this tour as repeated in the last few months is to restore hope to the people of Ghana. Nana Akufo-Addo’s position is that if we believe in ourselves and in Ghana, we can transform Ghana into a first world country. The message from the constituents in the Klottey Korle Constituency was simple: “We will vote for Nana for free education so that our children can go to school.” Oh they poured out in their numbers to meet the man who wished to change and move Ghana forward again.

Nana Addo in his speech to the people stated “I have been travelling around the country for the past two years and one thing that worries me is the high level of unemployment amongst our youth. We will expand the Ghanaian economy to help create more sustainable jobs for the youth and people of our country”. Find out more on how Nana Addo took over Accra.

Meanwhile, his running mate, the brilliant Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia commenced his tour in the Brong Ahafo Region, where he reiterated Nana Addo’s commitment to education. He stated at a community durbar: “we have pledged wholeheartedly to ensure that we make Secondary education free for all. Our determination to fulfill this promise is influenced by the fact that when SHS becomes free, it would ensure that access to education would be no longer determined by how wealthy one’s parents are.” Read more about what Bawumia said.
