PRESIDENT KUFUOR TO DELIVER 2ND LIBERTY LECTURE

His Excellency, Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, will on Thursday, 16th August 2012, deliver the second edition of the Liberty Lecture organized by policy and governance think tank, the Danquah Institute.

President Kufuor’s lecture will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre with guests expected to be seated by 6pm. The theme for the lecture is “Development in Freedom: Empowering the people to develop the nation” and is open to the general public.

President Kufuor will use the opportunity to explain to Ghanaians what the New Patriotic Party stands for, and why the NPP has the best ideas for Ghana.

The event will be chaired by Madam Ama Busia, sister of the late Prime Minister of Ghana, Dr K.A Busia.

The event is open to the general public.
